Youth Involvement in a Sanitation Project

For involving youth in rural water supply and sanitation sector the following steps are taken:

  • Sensitising community for effective management of desired water supply and sanitation services as well as for hygienic practices.

  • Assisting rural communities in enhancing process competency of target group.

  • Promoting water supply, sanitation and hygiene practices programme in schools.

  • Initiating process of water quality surveillance programme through school.

  • Creating awareness regarding economical value of water.

  • Generating data base to facilitate "Programme Based Learning" and "Activity related Knowledge and Experience Sharing".
